This year we have moved back to our home at Foothills Track.  The course starts on the northbound side of University Drive NW, near McMahon Stadium.

The 5 km race does a clockwise loop of the university campus before returning to the same location as the start and continuing to finish on Foothills track.  There is a water station approximately halfway through the race.

The 10 km race starts out on the same route as the shorter course, but at 32nd Avenue it adds a scenic 5 km loop in the community of Varsity, north of the University before re-joining the last half of the 5 km course.  There is water approximately half way through the race, as well as a second station (the same water station the 5 km race uses).  The 10 km course is measured and certified, which means we guarantee an accurate course length.

Both courses are quite flat, with only some very minor, very gradual elevation changes.

There are washroom facilities (no showers) provided at the track for use before and after the race.

Intersections with traffic lights are controlled by Calgary Police officers, with course marshals at other intersections.  The route is well marked with signs and pylons.
